The phone comes with a quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz and coupled with 3GB of RAM. The first flash sale will be held on Amazon India at 2 PM on Jan 28. The handset will be available in two colors including champagne white and black variant. To encash on its success, the company has today launched a toned down version of the Note 3, i.e., Coolpad Note 3 Lite for Rs 6,999. Amazon India is selling the Coolpad Note 3 Lite exclusively.

The Note 3 Lite is essentially a lighter version of the company’s previously launched Note 3 smartphone that is known for packing in brilliant specifications for its price. The phone has a dedicated expandable storage slot as well which is of 64 GB capacity but as per Coolpad’s product page it has 32 GB capacity. Another highlight is its fingerprint sensor, placed on the back panel below the camera module. At its price, it is now the cheapest smartphone to come with fingerprint identification.
Syed Tajuddin, CEO of Coolpad India, said: “We have retailed over 150,000 units of Coolpad Note 3 in India”.
This phone is equipped with a 13-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, 6P Lens, and also houses a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with beautification mode, 4P Lens and Fingerprint selfie feature. Connectivity options include 4G (with support for Indian LTE bands), Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, and Micro-USB (with OTG).
It packs a 2500 mAh non-removable battery and has a 150 hour standby time on dual SIM and Upto 200h on single SIM card.
Bin said that the company will initially import around 15,000- 20,000 devices from China and the additional demand will be fulfilled from India itself.
