Bernie Sanders: Hillary Clinton ‘Wrong’ on Great Recession Financial Crisis
He also said he would not put financial industry executives on the Fed’s presidentially-appointed board.

Democratic presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders traveled to the heart of America’s financial sector yesterday to issue a scathing denunciation of Wall Street. But with increased fundraising in the fourth quarter of 2015 that rivaled the efforts of Clinton, the Sanders campaign appears to be a long way from throwing in the towel on the contest for the White House. Sanders said that to this end, he plans to invoke Section 121 of the Dodd-Frank Act, which would impose severe limitations and conditions on banks and other financial entities that pose a serious threat to the continued financial well-being of the USA economy.

“People hunt and they do outdoor things – that’s what we do”, Sanders said.
He doesn’t support Clinton but he said her electability is proven. Barack Obama and John Edwards.
In her speech Wednesday evening, Clinton reminded voters she was raising millions of dollars for state parties in an attempt to strengthen Democrats up-and-down the ballot. But Nevada is also a state where a show of strength for Clinton could effectively dash Sanders’s hopes of winning the nomination even if he has a stronger than expected showing in Iowa, or wins in New Hampshire. She added, “A president who can get the job done”. “I think we can do that”.
Few and far between are the days between now and the February 1 caucuses in which Clinton or one of her messengers aren’t scheduled to campaign around Iowa.
In a competition of enthusiasm, the room offered a deafening roar at times as Sanders’ cheering section screamed, “Feel the Bern”, and blew into yellow vuvuzelas and air horns while Clinton’s backers chanted, “HRC”, and waved neon blue glow sticks. “That’s a motivating factor”.
The statement is true for Clinton in more ways that one. “What the president is trying to do now is deal with the so-called gun show loophole”. If anything, it turns them off. “Politician” is a dirty word to most Americans, and “practical progressive” just reeks of the very sort of characterless political pandering Clinton’s critics hate about her.
Last month, she announced a $2 billion plan to address Alzheimer’s during a stop in Fairfield, Iowa, and she frequently talks about substance abuse and mental health problems at events. In addition, when all registered voters statewide, not just likely voters in the Democratic primary, are asked their opinions of the two leading Democrats, each is viewed more positively than negatively, although slightly more voters statewide hold an unfavorable opinion of Clinton than Sanders.
It is “unacceptable”, Sanders said, that some Americans pay $4 to $5 ATM fees and 20 to 30 percent interest rates on credit cards. “I don’t like the idea of having the same people over and over again”. He pointed out that under his governorship, Maryland had been the first state in the union to introduce a living wage, and that he had also passed a climate change bill, the Dream Act, marriage equality legislation and eliminated the death penalty.

STEPHANOPOULOS: How about this argument from Hillary Clinton yesterday? I think we can do that. “She’s been through this before”. Most expect it to fall somewhere between 2008’s record of about 240,000 and the 125,000 who participated in 2004. And if Bernie wants to prove that he’s the candidate he says that he is, he’ll go through with it.
