The meeting is expected to occur February 8 and will involve all staff members, according to a Fox News report. Its troubles began after an E. coli outbreak came to light at the end of October.
After the jarring food health concerns, Chipotle sales dipped 30 percent and its stock price nose dived nearly 40 percent.
The recent illness outbreaks related to Chipotle which were reported in several states of the United States had triggered a federal criminal probe and a shareholder lawsuit against the company. Founder and CEO of Chipotle, Steve Ells, has addressed the fans of its burritos based all over the globe who are concerned about the E. coli and norovirus outbreak that sickened hundreds of people recently.

In order to win back the trust of its customers, the millennial favorite is also planning to give out double the amount of free food, CNBC says. Thus, Chipotle has rolled out new sanitation procedures in its restaurants as a measure to start additional food safety training for all its restaurant employees. Marler said that he is a representative of 75 people, but hasn’t filed all their lawsuits yet. Chipotle financial chief Jack Hurting said that the company will take this year to invest and fix its “messy” earnings and profit margins, the Wall Street Journal reported. “I’m hopeful that the CDC will call this over soon”, he said, according to E! The agency has not identified an ingredient that was responsible for the E. coli outbreak, and Chipotle has said it may never know what was to blame.
