The children were last seen in Coloma, Michigan.
The missing children are 4-year-old Nova Perez and her sister 3-year-old Luna Perez from Coloma Michigan, in Berrien County, by their father who is a suspect in a double homicide.
MSP said they began receiving calls around 11:30 p.m. Thursday for assistance. State Police police say Perez was wanted in connection with two murders in a home near M-63 and Park Street in Hager Township in Berrien County.
The alert was canceled Friday morning after police said Perez was taken into custody in Clear Creek County, Colo. Authorities told 24 Hour News 8 that the two victims died from blunt force trauma, but did not provide further details.
