The Eagles are seeking a replacement for Chip Kelly, who was sacked five days before Philadelphia’s season-ending victory over Coughlin and the Giants.

When the Giants hired McAdoo back in 2014, he was expected to succeed Coughlin as the team’s next head coach.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter on Thursday reported that the Eagles “have turned their attention” towards Coughlin’s direction, before later releasing news that Coughlin removed his name from consideration.
