According to Mexican Attorney General Arely Gomez “Since Guzman Loera has been recaptured, the beginning of the extradition proceedings should begin”.

After being received by gunfire from the people in the home, “Marines proceeded to retaliate the aggression in legitimate self-defense and to protect their own lives, but unfortunately one marine was injured and five aggressors lost their lives and six more were detained”, the statement reads.

Joaquín “El Chapo” Guzmán is known for many things: His escapes from prison, his idiot son, and his tendency to murder anyone who gets in his way.

Mexico plans to send him to the U.S. to face justice.

Soon after the capture, Breitbart Texas reported that one of the factors that aided authorities in tracking El Chapo was a series of conversations that he had with soap opera starlet Kate Del Castillo which resulted in an interview with Hollywood activist Sean Penn. The raid by the Mexican Marines that took down Guzman was caught on video, looking very much like a first-person shooter video game. Operation Cisne Negro (Black Swan) took place at the Hotel Doux where El Chapo and his associates were hiding from Mexican police.

Officials say El Chapo’s multi-billion-dollar cartel has been a major supplier of illegal drugs to the US.
