The league also is reviewing the conduct of other players and coaches during Pittsburgh’s 18-16 victory.

Cincinnati Bengals linebacker Vontaze Burfict has been suspended for the first three games of the 2016 season, the National Football League announced on Monday night.
Burfict has been fined four times this season, including twice on plays that were not penalized. He was fined fined $31,000 for hitting a defenseless Green Bay Packers receiver (James Jones) and fined $10,000 for striking a Packers tight end Ryan Taylor in the groin in the same game. On one, the guy pushed him back, and I was told later that (the officials) missed the first push. “He plays very well within the rules, and we have to keep doing that”.
“I’ll go in tomorrow with the intent to see what I can do”, Roethlisberger said during the interview. So if this is the case, will Jones apologize? “Go back and look at the play”.
Jones left the locker room Saturday night without talking to reporters and then lashed out on social media, positing a video on his Instagram account.
“I know if you just got knocked out you’re not gonna be able to wink at me and tell me you’re OK, I know that”, Jones added. “He wasn’t with the player who got hurt”. Did you see him smile when he walked off the field?
“We’ve hit the hammer on the nail already”, defensive tackle Domata Peko said.
Cornerback Chris Harris Jr. said a 300-pound lineman with a running start spearing an unsuspecting player with his head down was way worse than what the Giants’ star receiver did to Carolina’s star cornerback.
Jones bristled at suggestions that the penalties on him and Burfict set up the loss.
The two penalties moved the ball from the Cincinnati 47-yard line to the 17, setting up the winning kick.
Roethlisberger wouldn’t speculate on his status for the game, although Broncos head coach Gary Kubiak said he expects Big Ben to go and that the Broncos are planning accordingly.

Although the linebacker has been penalized and fined repeatedly, Lewis said he’s been depicted unfairly for his play.
