As for last night’s drawing, one ticket holder matched 5 numbers, winning million.

The Powerball jackpot will rise heading into the weekend, though it will only be half as large as this weekend’s Mega Millions grand prize. There have now been 60 straight drawings without a victor since a player won a $3.5 million jackpot February 25.

There were 30 players whose tickets matched the four white balls making each ticket worth $500.

There were 359,580 regular winners and $4,254,381 in non-jackpot money was won. The cash option is $42.7 million. There were two players that matched the five main numbers to win million each. The odds of winning the jackpot with a $1 ticket are 1-in-13,983,816. Tickets cost $2 each. The top prize is $1,000 a day for life.
