Univision to air TV series on ‘El Chapo’

It’s February 2014 and Joaquin Guzman is arrested and sent to another maximum security prison in Mexico.

The move has forced Mexican authorities to abide by the legal timetables, which could take about one to five years to complete, according to observers.

The government officials said investigators had monitored Penn and Del Castillo, taking photographs of the actors when they landed in Mexico, before their get-together with Guzman. The prison also now has 24-hour video surveillance of Guzman including all parts of his cell.

Guzman is now back in the same prison that he escaped on July 11 when he snuck down a hole in his cell’s shower that led to a 1.5-km tunnel outside the prison.

Sanchez, however, did criticize what he said were attempts to glorify drug traffickers.

In an article accompanying the photos, El Universal said Mexican agents were aware of and following del Castillo’s contacts with Guzman’s lawyers since at least June. Guzman’s recapture is a moment to celebrate.

“They are giving El Chapo some magnificent grounds to appeal”, Hope said. He met with people, as we now know.

“I hadn’t seen him, and I was interested in what happened”, Rose said.

As to where Guzman made his purchase, Ms Mancia said people come to Los Angeles and snap up large amounts of the store’s clothing to resell in Mexico, the United States and elsewhere.

Immensely rich from flooding the United States with cocaine, Mexican drug kingpin Joaquin “Chapo” Guzman could afford the fastest cars on earth: but in an ironic twist of fate, the one he hijacked as he tried to avoid recapture was a clunker.

Guzman’s escape humiliated Pena Nieto, who had vowed to keep him behind bars and put him on trial in Mexico even though the drug lord had already fled from another prison in 2001. He said the size of those operations involved only around 60 troops, not hundreds.

An interior ministry security official, who has visited the jail on various occasions, said the problem with housing kingpins like “El Chapo” was that they could easily buy off the entire prison staff.

“It caused him to go to a safe house in Los Mochis”.

“Just months earlier, Sean Penn had traveled in secret through the Mexican jungle to meet with Chapo, then America’s most wanted worldwide fugitive, “Rolling Stone’s post reads”.

Mexican officials have said while he was on the run, he called movie producers about a planned biopic.

Penn has acknowledged that he tagged along for the controversial October 2 meeting at a mountain hideout originally set up by Del Castillo.

You’re so lovely, my friend, in every aspect”, the powerful Sinaloa drug cartel leader told Del Castillo, famous for her role as a drug boss in the TV show “The Queen of the South”.
