DiCaprio’s eye-roll at Lady Gaga goes viral — Golden Globes
I am so grateful to the Hollywood Foreign Press. The movie, based on a book by Andy Weir, not only earned big bucks across the globe, but also received critical acclaim. Critics darlings “Carol” and “Mad Max: Fury Road” were surprisingly shut out as well.

Is she hoping to be among the Oscar nominees announced early Thursday?
Leonardo has just earned his firth Oscar nomination for his role as Hugh Glass in The Revenant, which saw him shooting in the freezing cold for nine months to create the critically acclaimed film. “Lots of laughs going on”, a source tells ET. “I think we’re all totally shocked, but we feel fantastic”, said DiCaprio, who had just won his third Golden Globe. Shunning her trademark sensational outfits for an elegant black evening gown by Versace and a Marilyn Monroe-esque hairdo, she said that she felt like Cher’s overjoyed character in the 1987 film Moonstruck. One of the most hilarious couple of seconds during the event was due to the candid reaction of Leonardo DiCaprio as Lady Gaga went past his table during the event.
Kate was seen hugging Leo after he was named Best Actor in a Motion Picture – Drama for The Revenant, which also bagged two other awards – Best Motion Picture, and Best Director for Alejandro G Iñarritu. The crowd greeted his win with a standing ovation.
The “Poker Face” hitmaker – whose last solo LP release was 2013’s “Artpop” – has vowed to bring out a record this year but she can’t say when the new tracks may drop.
Even if Lady Gaga isn’t nominated for an Academy Award, she has much to look forward to in 2016.
Maura Tierney’s win in the Best Supporting Actress category for The Affair was another well-earned award.
The big television winners included USA’s “Mr. Robot”, Taraji P. Henson for “Empire” and Jon Hamm for “Mad Men“. While Taylor didn’t seem to be upset about it, as they were spotted looking cozy as ever at the after party, Gaga did take to her personal Instagram account to rectify it.
