Milder temperatures Friday, rain to start Saturday

Highs will reach the upper 30s and low 40s with a light southeast wind.

The rainfall and storms are associated with a strong low-pressure system that will move up the coast today, the weather service said. There is a chance of rain and snow before 7 p.m., then a chance of snow after.

Rain changes to snow Friday night and continues through Saturday.

WEDNESDAY: Mostly cloudy skies and snow showers will be around for Wednesday, with a high of only 32 degrees. Winds will be from the southwest at 5-10 miles per hour. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 47. Lows in the upper 40’s. Thursday night, however, will see clouds roll in and rain chances increase significantly on Friday.

After a sunny day Friday with temperatures in the 50s in central Oklahoma, there is a chance for snow Saturday, the National Weather Service reports. High temperature near: 63.

Saturday: Decreasing afternoon cloudiness, cool. Highs in the single digits by Sunday! High temperature near: 65.

Monday: Mostly sunny, mild. Lows 22 to 37. High temperatures near: 58.

We began the morning with rain pushing through our area out of the gulf and temperatures in the 40s in most locations. Low temperature near: 41.

Sunday Night Mostly cloudy with a chance of rain and snow. Lows 25 to 40.
