Clinton: ‘I Have References’ for President Job Position
No one is anxious about that anymore. He says his wife and former Secretary of State can continue to improve America by picking up where the Obama Administration will leave off. Clinton was regularly topping 50 percent support in national polls and widening her lead in Iowa, the key early state where she faltered in 2008.

Earlier in the show, the pair discussed the ninth Republican debate, which also aired this evening, during which most of the candidates attacked her record while she was Secretary of State. “Once you get into it, this is a Democratic election for our nominee and it gets really close, exciting”. The DC Media has done everything it can to make Hillary Clinton president.
Tad Devine, a longtime Democratic operative and leading Sanders adviser, said the Birmingham rally is “an opportunity for [Sanders] on Dr. King’s birthday to showcase a cause that’s been a central part of the work of his life”. The New Hampshire primary is February 9. “I don’t think I’d make it past the first half hour”, she laughed. “We talked about how close this was going to be in (Iowa and New Hampshire)”. She then invited them onto a conference call with Sanders the next day.
In the past week, Clinton has shifted course in apparent response to Sanders’ strong poll results. Sanders represents Vermont as an independent senator caucusing with Democrats, and he describes himself as a democratic socialist.
The new approach carries risks.
The Democratic presidential debate Sunday night may be the liveliest one yet.
“Look, I have worked for him off and on for 30 years, I managed his Senate mapping in 2006, a very vicious race where we were attacked on television and elsewhere”, Jeff Weaver, Sanders’ campaign manager, said.
Clinton enters the fourth Democratic debate looking to mimic the first. Clinton, however, has a 25-point advantage over Sanders among Democrats aged 65 and older. I’ve no idea. So we have an ongoing dialog about it’. “But we won’t be negative on them”. Maybe Hillary Clinton should try leaving the family at home.
What seemed recently to be a race largely controlled by Clinton has turned into a neck-and-neck contest with voting set to begin in less than three weeks.
Bill Clinton has also dodged questions about both Sanders and Republican front-runner Donald Trump.
Gilda Cobb Hunter, a SC legislator who’s a member of the Democratic National Committee, said she expected Clinton to win SC but that Sanders had quietly made inroads in the state with liberal and labor groups.
“In an anti-establishment time”, Axelrod said, “you’re essentially branding yourself as the establishment candidate”.
Watch Clinton’s entire one-on-one interview with Maddow in the video below. That could clear the way for Clinton’s team to retaliate with its own critical advertising. Iowa and New Hampshire hold primaries next month, but Connecticut’s primary is in April.

Thursday, the Sanders campaign launched its most robust outreach effort among black voters, kicking off a tour of historically black colleges at South Carolina State University in Orangeburg. “Bernie’s really against big money and super PACs”. “There will be a lot of handwringing”, Mellman said.
