Good, Bad, Ugly VS Houston Texans In Wild Card Game
The Kansas City Chiefs capitalised on a touchdown kick-off return on the first play of the game to crush the Houston Texans 30-0 in the AFC wild card contest.

The Chiefs traveled to NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas to take on the AFC South Champion, Houston Texans.
Everyone remembers Week 4 of last season when the Patriots were demolished, 41-14 in Kansas City on Monday Night Football, dropping the team to 2-2 on the season.
Hoyer threw three interceptions and lost a fumble on Houston’s first six possessions.
Said Hoyer: “It’s been a long year”.
“I was frustrated I didn’t get to play”, Clowney said, via The Associated Press.
Hoyer endured a nightmarish performance, fumbling to end a promising Texans drive late in the first half before throwing the second of his four interceptions on second-and-goal at the Chiefs 3-yard line.
The second important believe the Kansas City Chiefs can beat the New England Patriots is that they are now a confident bunch when they go on the road.
Knile Davis’ 106-yard kick-off return touchdown in the opening seconds was the second longest in post-season National Hockey League history and laid the foundations of the success.
The defence took over after that, harassing Brian Hoyer into a fumble and three of his career-high four interceptions before halftime to help the Chiefs (12-5) take a 13-0 lead at halftime.
“It’s never as good as you think and never as bad as you think”, Reid said. “It’s a combination of us having to do a better job coaching and execution all the way around on offense today”.
Alex Smith threw a touchdown in the third quarter and the rout was completed by Spencer Ware’s five-yard touchdown in the fourth. The win broke an eight-game losing streak in the postseason for the Chiefs.
Hoyer was 15 of 34 for 136 yards. Maclin said after the game he hopes to play next weekend.
“Not 100 percent sure, but we’ll get it diagnosed tomorrow and I’ll have surgery on Tuesday and take it from there”, Watt said, per the team’s website.

“Brian wanted to finish the thing out”, said backup quarterback Brandon Weeden, who began warming up toward the end of the third quarter. “Me and (Fisher) fought our butt off to block him”. I think anybody would have been and I watched the game here. Running back Alfred Blue had a big 49-yard run before Hoyer’s red-zone pick, and that was pretty much the biggest play all day for Houston on offense. Yeah. But I’m not too into that narrative.
