How much can a woman take? More heartbreak for Celine Dion

The devastating news came amid Dion’s funeral preparations for her husband.

She is also now grieving the loss of her husband, Rene Angélil, who passed away at the age of 73 on January 14, the eve of his 74 birthday, at their suburban home in Las Vegas following a years-long battle with throat cancer.

Daniel was suffering from cancer of the throat, tongue, and brain, while René had throat cancer.

Dion’s shows on Saturday and Sunday were cancelled.

Celine’s sister Claudette told the Journal Of Montreal that the family have been told that their brother Daniel has just “days or hours”.

A Celebration of Life tribute ceremony for Angelil will also be held at the Caesars Palace Colosseum in Las Vegas, where his wife has been a regular performer for many years, on 3 February (16). The group would tour Canada while Celine Dion was only an infant, but it proved the foundation for a close-knit relationship with her siblings for the rest of her life.

Daniel – one of Celine’s 13 kin – is presently encompassed by loved ones in Montreal.

“I’d never heard anything like it. For me, it was the most handsome voice in the world”, he would recall in interviews. “I understand. Talk to me about it, ‘” pausing before adding: “And Rene says to me, ‘I want to die in your arms.’ OK, fine, I’ll be there, you’ll die in my arms”.
