Palace have failed to socre in their last four League matches and manager Alan Pardew is considering a move for Emmanuel Adebayor to boost their strike force.

Adebayor has been without a club since his Tottenham contract was mutually terminated in September.
The club’s strikers have scored just one Premier League goal this season between them and the team have not won in four games.
“I wouldn’t say pipping us to him, it was kind of done”.
“It’s something that is in our mix and we’ll have to wait and see”.
“We still think another striker would pay dividends given the position we’re in”.
Free agent Emmanuel Adebayor could still play for any club in the Premier League, according to former Tottenham Hotspur boss Harry Redknapp. For me, whenever he has played against me, he has been totally committed and he’s a unsafe player.
“But he remains a player that of course can have great impact, one of those players that would improve us”.
He said: ‘We had a couple of really close shaves bringing him to West Ham and I was very, very disappointed when ultimately Arsenal got him.

“Although we are in a little negative period in terms of our (recent) results, our results overall are still strong”. Yet seeing as Alan Pardew is trying to build a squad for the future without wanting to waste much-needed resources on former stars of yesteryear – maybe this is a move that should be avoided at all costs.

The City boss said: “I always say with young players, if they are working every day with the team and they play some games, they must take their chance, and I think every time Kelechi has played, he has done very well”.
