Omikron Being Given Away For Free In Memory Of David Bowie

In remembrance of David Bowie who sadly passed away this week at the age of 69, Square Enix is giving away the one and only game which Bowie played a pretty big part in: Omikron – The Nomad Soul. Along the way you can meet digital David Bowie, who is naturally a rock star in that world too.

You’ll need to head over to the game’s page on the Square-Enix store in order to nab it for free, but that’s it. Though PCGamesN are reporting a few issues for U.S. buyers where it appears the game still has a price. Heading the renegade musical group The Dreamers, Bowie performed several songs from his then-upcoming album Hours, many of which were written specifically for the game. To get it for free just use the promo code “omikron”. If you did die, your soul simply moved into another person. But what you might not have heard is that once upon a time, he was also in a game called Omikron: The Nomad Soul, his first and only video game appearance.

“Omikron for free in celebration of @DavidBowieReal”.
