John Calipari campaigns for former players to make All-Star game
John Calipari and Kentucky have had a fair amount of players move on from dominating college basketball to having a significant impact in the NBA.

Much respect to coach Calipari for doing this, and for wearing festive attire. With the deadline for All-Star voting coming up on Monday, the coach starred in a video to hopefully give former Wildcat players a push in the fan polls. As of Thursday, John Wall and Derrick Rose were the only United Kingdom alums/former Cal players to crack the qualifying echelons in the East Conference; Anthony Davis, DeMarcus Cousins, Enes Kanter (who enrolled but was not allowed by the NCAA to play even one game at UK) and Rajon Rondo are showing strong in the West, though. The thing I noticed the most was that he wore a John Wall Wizards jersey and never took it off during the course of the video. But let’s face it. They’re part of his family and deserve a mention too.
“It’s time to get out and vote”, Calipari said.

So John Calipari, I’m giving you an #NBAVOTE!
