Officers requested an ambulance for a medical and mental evaluation for a “confused party” when New England Patriots defensive end Chandler Jones arrived at the Foxboro Police Department headquarters Sunday morning, police and fire dispatch audio reveals.

The problem with that is the media wants to talk about the unusual story surrounding defensive end Chandler Jones. After knocking and calling out, the officer entered the kitchen and found a set of keys, while also observing the smell of burnt marijuana.

Jones apparently approached the police-only entrance of the Foxboro police station shirtless, and fell to the ground outside of the station in a manner that appeared to be part of a praying ritual.

Jones said he wouldn’t get into any details while apologizing for whatever did go on a few days ago.

“It was quite evident that Mr. Jones was desperately seeking our assistance, and he had certainly not committed any crimes”, Foscaldo wrote. In Jones’ case, he had a mild bad reaction to the drug and was able participate in practice the day after being hospitalized, though the ordeal isn’t completely behind him.

The Patriots play the Chiefs in the playoffs on Saturday.

But Jones addressed the media on Thursday and apologized to the team and fans for the incident. “Becoming the best [No.] 95 I can be to help this team out”.

Jones’ teammates said they will give him whatever support he needs.

New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick coach said Thursday his primary concern is Jones’ health.

Jones was asked if he is in any trouble with regards to substance issues, but Jones didn’t exactly answer the question, saying, “I understand the question, but right now, my main focus is trying to hone in on Kansas City”. “You can send it over to Kansas City and look at it. Might be easier for all of us”, Belichick said.
