A Georgia psychiatrist is facing charges after 36 of his patients died, 12 from prescription medicine overdose.

Almost 40 federal and local agents raided the offices in Jonesboro, before they moved seized more assets at Nagareddy’s house.
“He Is a doctor in Jonesboro that has not been under -prescribing opiates and also the last many years has already established numerous overdose fatalities and overdoses”, Clayton County Police Chief Paul Register informed WSBTV Station 2 Information.
Current and past patients have admitted to authorities that Dr. Nagareddy would prescribe controlled medications without “having a legitimate medical need”.
Narenda Nagareddy’s arrest comes after the death of 29 year old mother of two Audrey Austin, who suffered a fatal overdose of prescription medication just days after visiting the psychiatrist in February 2014.
The district attorney’s office filed a Racketeer Influence and Corrupt Organizations civil action to seize his assets and a sign was posted outside his office directing visitors to a drug addiction hotline. Investigators have so far determined 12 of these patients died from prescription drug intoxication. “If the allegations are true, he is Doctor Death, no doubt about it”.
Nagareddy’s license was issued in 1999 and complaints dating back several years have been found online referencing his prescription methods.

It is believed the psychiatrist’s arrest came about due to the death of Miss Austin. ‘If you want help, keep looking or youll (sic) end up in rehab’.

The State Board of Medical Examiners said Nagareddy has never been disciplined and has no criminal convictions, medical malpractice suits or medical settlements, according to Fox Carolina.
