Police find 3 dead in house near SUNY Geneseo campus
GENESEO, N.Y. (WIVB)- The Geneseo Police Department is investigating three deaths in a SUNY Geneseo student’s home Sunday morning. Geneseo police says there is no concern for public safety in Geneseo and that it was is an isolated incident.

Officers with the Geneseo Police Department went to a residence near the State University of NY at Geneseo early Sunday morning to find the bodies of two men and one woman.
The victims were identified as 21-year-old Kelsey Annese, of Webster, 24-year-old Collin Kingston of Geneseo and 24-year-old Matthew Hutchinson, of Vancouver, British Columbia.
He played hockey for the college’s team, was in his fourth year of university, studying geography and business, and volunteered as a firefighter with the B.C. Wildfire Service. Police said no gun was used, but a knife was recovered from the scene.

Colin Kingston resided in Geneseo.
The SUNY Geneseo website said the school was “in the planning stages of a remembrance event that will bring together the college community to support each other in this time of great sadness”.
There is an active police investigation underway near campus on Wadsworth Street.

At approximately 2 p.m., two Geneseo police officers were going door=to=door on both sides of Wadsworth Avenue, talking to residents. “University Police is assisting authorities involved with the investigation”. Authorities will have additional information later this afternoon.
