More Frigid Air, Lake Effect Snow On Tap
The snow will mostly accumulate on grassy surfaces, not roads, but it may reduce visibility while it falls.

There is a Lake Snow Advisory for Genesee County on Sunday from 4am to 6pm.
A LAKE EFFECT SNOW WATCH has been issued for Lake, Geauga and Ashtabula County from Sunday afternoon through Tuesday morning.
The brief respite from colder weather is over, and more snow is on the way. Snowfall could range from 7 to 14 inches, with higher amounts expected in the suburbs east of Rochester.
Area wide snow Sunday afternoon will be followed by periods of heavy lake effect snow from Sunday evening through Tuesday morning.
What is Lake-Effect Snow?
The direction and duration of the winds in combination with the difference in temperature between the air mass and the water of the lake typically dictates how much snow will fall in any one location.
Another round of arctic air is settling into West Michigan this weekend, which means lake-effect snow showers will be around for several days.
Northern and eastern counties could see 1-3 inches of snow, while 4-8 inches are possible north of Interstate 80.
