‘My heart will go on’: Celine Dion’s husband, brother dies of CANCER
Ariana Grande is the first notable celeb to reach out to Celine Dion following the death of her husband, Rene Angelil, and brother Daniel. Daniel had been battling cancer of the tongue, brain, and throat for years, before passing away shortly after his family revealed that they believed he had only a few hours left to live.

Celine Dion lost her husband Rene Angelil to throat cancer last Thursday.
Celine Dion’s representative Kim Jakwerth released a statement that Daniel Dion (59) died surrounded by his family after battling cancer for several years.
His funeral will take place at St-Simon-et-Jude de Charlemagne Church in Repentigny, Quebec, CBC reported.

The bereaved family in a statement said Daniel will be remembered as a gentle and reserved man of many talents.
The Canadian entertainment manager, who discovered Dion (47) when she was 12-years-old and drove her career to stardom. “Our family is very experienced”, Claudette told the Journal of Montreal.

Celine’s also planning a celebration of life for her late husband in Las Vegas. He was treated at a hospital in the Quebec city, and passed away on Saturday morning (16Jan16), Celine’s publicist Francine Chaloult confirmed.
