Florida’s Rubio jabs Republican leaders: Anger not enough
GOP presidential candidate former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee also defended Trump in an interview on Saturday against Cruz’s criticism. His 17-stop tour attracted hundreds of people at the kickoff event Sunday night in Milford, known as “the granite town in the Granite State” for its proliferation of quarries.

Although Cruz acquired American citizenship at birth through his mother, some have argued that as he was born overseas and to a Cuban father, he does not meet the constitutional requirement of being “a natural-born citizen” and is therefore ineligible to serve in the White House.
Asked if he thought Trump crossed the line in criticizing Cruz, Scott Brown
Trump also had the opportunity to respond to the comments that were made by Governor Haley. “He was a Canadian citizen until 15 months ago, if you can believe that”, Trump said.
Still, Cruz so far showed a little restraint when it came to whacking Trump before voters, rather than just reporters.
“How?” Rubio asked. “You deserve to know that”. Now he doesn’t know that he was a Canadian citizen?
The issues where Cruz has allegedly shifted his position recently include: Free trade, the annual inflow of foreign workers, and ethanol.
Others tweeted about a different kind of “value” – about how many things in NY are expensive.
“I’m unloading on him because he’s been very dishonest”, Trump said. “The Democrats are going to file lawsuits”. “Goldman Sachs owns him, he will do anything they demand”, he wrote.
U.S. Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump ramped up his attacks on Ted Cruz Saturday, intimating the loans the Texas senator received for his 2012 Senate race may have influenced his stance on bank regulation. Beyond the Trump-Cruz theatrics, U.S. Sen. I am biased because I have known her for years. Cruz had given a backhanded apology not for his comments, but to New Yorkers who were harmed by liberal politicians.
Mr Trump hit back: “In Iowa Ted – in the last three polls I’m beating you so you shouldn’t misrepresent”. “You can’t make deals with people like that, and it’s not a good thing, it’s not a good thing for the country”. So I’ve got a very simple question for the folks here: “How do we not get burned again?”
“He’s a total hypocrite”, he said.
Once those issues are addressed, Rubio said, the nation can turn its attention to the estimated 11 million immigrants living in the country illegally. “Number one, I feel guilty because I’m $35 million under budget”, he said. “I want to encourage everybody to be more conservative”. Trump pointed out the clip was from 1999.
“Jeb is spending so much money. I think that’s a huge difference”.
“If you look at the top and the bottom of the tickets, the higher you are, the less experience you have”.
Republican presidential candidate Sen. “I think we pride ourselves on being a place of diversity and equality”. He had zero. He had nothing. He’s got an edge that’s not good.

Trump has also been publicly skeptical of Cruz’s eligibility to become president.
