Reports suggest that All India Hindu Student Federation filed the complaint and accused Gurmeet Ram Rahim of insulting Lord Vishnu.
This is not the first time that Ram Rahim has courted controversy for hurting religious statements. After comedian Kiku Sharda got arrested for mimicking Gurmeet Ram Rahim, another complaint against the ‘MSG’ actor himself has been filed. We gave a complaint to the Zirakpur police station, which is hesitating to register a case against him.
The complaint has been filed in Zikarpur, Mohali on Saturday.
However, the police confirmed of having received a complaint, but refused to be photographed or come on camera.
Gurmeet Ram Rahim is stealing all the headlines lately for various issues.
A tent set up by a group protesting against Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh at New Delhi’s Jantar Mantar was dismantled by the police today after the group allegedly circulated text messages regarding plans to burn the self-styled godman’s effigy.
