The two shot stoppers were undoubtedly the best two players on the pitch, and despite being held to a draw, Arsenal have reclaimed top spot in the Premier League.

With Arsenal returning to the league table’s summit, Stoke remain seventh, five points behind fourth-placed Tottenham Hotspur.
He continued to praise the defence, saying: “They were really resolute once again, but to be fair I don’t think Arsenal were ever able to get any real momentum to their play, with the exception of maybe a 10 minute spell in the second half”.
Neither side were able to make the breakthrough in a game that saw both goalkeepers Jack Butland and Petr Cech impress.
Wenger, who also thought Stoke were “very physical” in a game that featured no cards, believes those who were singing about Ramsey will feel a sense of shame after leaving the game.
“Second half the momentum shifted and they had chances”.
“We expected them to play more on the ground but they chose to go the other way and we dealt quite well with it”.
“Compared to the history we have here, it’s a positive result”.
Stoke grew into the game after the break, and Cech had to be on his toes to deny the home side from taking the lead in the second half, as Mark Hughes’ side piled on the pressure towards the end of the game. “I think he has given us that confidence at the back”.
Both teams enjoyed spells of dominance but a stalemate was probably a fair result as the Gunners managed to draw at a venue where they have struggled in recent seasons.
“From our point of view, that shows how far we’re progressing this year – we’re prepared to go toe to toe with every team in the Premier League and see where it takes us”. “We are used to having him there and give the final ball”.
Victory took United to within two points of the Champions League berths and allowed them to reclaim fifth place from West Ham United, leaving Liverpool six points back in ninth place, their top-four hopes fading. “They made the game very physical, the crowd were up for it, the players were up for it”.

Harry Redknapp claims he is still waiting for Theo Walcott and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain “to get going” and says Arsenal look “ordinary” without Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez. “Once again we’ve gone up against one of the elite teams and made it hard for them”.
