The search area spans more than a thousand acres of rugged terrain in Pinson, which is northeast of Memphis and south of Jackson.
If you have seen Noah, please call the Chester County Sheriff’s Office at 731-989-2787 or the TBI at 1-800-TBI-FIND. Many volunteers said they had never met the Chamberlin family. He said that the efforts are still considered a search and rescue.
Noah Chamberlin, the missing Tennessee toddler who vanished last Thursday, still hasn’t been found as hundreds of people continue searching for him.
The two-year-old’s grandmother reportedly lost sight of Noah in the woods and he hasn’t been seen since Thursday afternoon in the town of Pinson.
Weaver said the search for Noah Chamberlin is making everyone “tired”, but “not frustrated”. It asked the public to check their homes, crawl spaces, cars, sheds and “anywhere else a 2-year-old could fit”. “When you talk about how long he can survive, like I said, Faith”.
He and Madison County Sheriff John Mehr held a press conference at Pinson Baptist Church late Monday morning, saying this is still a search and rescue mission. These volunteers are working in below freezing temperatures and doing everything they can to bring this child home safely.
“Lots of resources were wasted because people want to do things on their own”, Mehr said. “We may be slow coming out with it, but what we come out with is the truth”. The grandmother told officers she was paying attention to her granddaughter for a moment and when she looked up, Noah was gone.
Law enforcement and volunteers have been canvassing the woods for signs of Noah since his disappearance, and authorities say that no signs of Noah have been found. He was last seen wearing a gray shirt and blue jeans.
Law enforcement searched through the evening, but now the sheriff is asking for volunteers to resume helping.
