The Denver Broncos are expected to continue with Peyton Manning at quarterback for the AFC Championship Game on Sunday against the New England Patriots, but Bill Belichick says his team will be ready for all possibilities. Manning had completed only 11 of his 22 pass attempts for 99 yards, while the run game totaled 65 yards – 34 of which came on one C.J. Anderson run. The Broncos eventually found their moxie, however, and notched another thrilling win, downing the Pittsburgh Steelers 23-16 to advance to the AFC Championship game. It was the first touchdown for the Broncos offense in 23 postseason drives. I think we had one sack in the game.

This time around, the Denver Broncos QB will be on the field.
It’s been a unique season for the Broncos, going from 7-0 to fighting for the division and moving from Manning at quarterback to Brock Osweiler and back to Manning.
The NFC Championship Game does not feature a rematch from the regular season. The Broncos posted a comeback win over the San Diego Chargers that day, securing the AFC’s top playoff seed.
The Panthers are in the NFC title game for the fourth time, and first since 2005. He’s thrown just one touchdown (to eight interceptions) in Denver this season.
“I think he would have had a really big game had we made some of those plays in the first half”, Kubiak said. Today, we look at who’s favored in those two games, and it’s fair to say neither will surprise you. We did things we were supposed to do, and won the football game.
“This is not all on him by any means”, Roethlisberger said. It’s on all of us. We had to settle for field goals.
He said on radio station WEEI: “It’s beyond what I’d ever imagined in my wildest dreams. But Wade (goes all out) all the time and makes us stand up, and we do it. The difference between this year and past years is Wade”.
A late turnover by Steelers running back Fitzgerald Toussaint handed the Broncos the ball near midfield and suddenly the balanced attack the home team had been trying desperately to stoke into efficiency, came to life.
Bryant had nine catches for 154 yards, including a long of 52, and also had two runs covering 40 yards. “Everybody stepped up (for the injured Brown)”. “Everybody knew we had to step up without A.B. We gave it our all”.
But the Steelers needed more pressure on Manning.

The Steelers went on to lose the game, as they have in most of their postseasn contests in which they have lost the turnover battle, and the same is true of everybody. I tell you what, I don’t know if you guys could tell, it was quite windy down there …
