Van Gaal bored by his team’s play
Louis van Gaal feels the Manchester United fans should be happy with back-to-back wins despite Saturday’s poor FA Cup display.

“What do I do now?”
Paul Scholes tore into Van Gaal after the final whistle, claiming the players and the manager looked “bored”.
“The result is all right, but the performance was not”, said Van Gaal, as his team toiled to break down their third-tier opponents. “There are many reasons why someone might leave early”.
“There are matches that I have enjoyed and there are also matches where I’m very bored or angry because we are not disorganising our opponent’s defence”, he said, as reported by Sky Sports.
“Do you know that”, he snapped at reporters.
“The big thing for me, I see square pegs in round holes with players in this team”, Scholes told BT Sport. It is not an easy time now, so I think the fans were there also. “He gets constantly changed from position to position, I think there are so many questions about this team”.
“When you don’t score in the first 15 minutes, they keep this [approach] in 90 minutes also because they are getting motivation out of the fact we are not scoring”.
“We can not say that because when there is a chance to make a selection better, we shall do it but I do not think we shall”.
Louis van Gaal has admitted there have been times this season when Manchester United have left him feeling “bored or angry”, following a run of low-scoring games that has led to sustained criticism of the manager and accusations he has abandoned the club’s attacking principles.
Memphis Depay won the penalty for United, but his wayward 25-yard short shortly after coming on as a substitute on the hour mark was met with ironic cheers from the stand.
“You can mention how they leave, but you can also mention how they come to the stadium to watch this FA Cup match”. Everybody is different and I don’t believe in yelling from the sidelines, ‘ he said. You have to know what they want and how they play. We didn’t play quickly enough. “We have to beat them”.

Van Gaal revealed that Bastian Schweinsteiger will be out of the game against Newcastle, while commenting on the current situation with Adnan Januzaj who just returned from a loan spell with Dortmund. Ok, I see their game against Arsenal and they played very well.
