It had before been accounted for that the group of “Comedy Nights With Kapil” would have their keep going scene disclosed on 17 January.

Colors and Kapil were not having good understanding in the recent past and skipping the last show to be aired on TV made the issue even more hyped after social media was filled with all the sadness for not telecasting the show by Colors TV.
According to reports, Kapil had a major tiff with the channel’s heads as they were sidelining his show and more aggressively promoting the new show which has a similar name and is on the same lines.
Due to the tiff between actor comedian Kapil Sharma and Colors channel, the much awaited last episode of Comedy Nights with Kapil, which was supposed to air on Sunday at 10.30 pm, was scrapped by the channel at the last moment. Sunil Grover who became a household name after his 2 year gig as “Gutthi” thanked his fans and claimed this phase as the best one in his life.
Informing about the new show he said, “The new show will be shot on the same set used by Kapil Sharma and shall include comedians Bharti Singh and Sudesh Lahiri giving support to Krushna Abhishek”. Viewers were surprised to find the channel’s other show, “Comedy Nights Bachao”, which only airs on Saturday, being aired instead.
Sunil Grover (aka Gutthi) is shown with tears rolling down his cheeks, Sumona Chakravarti (aka Manju) is seen consoling him. “Thank you very much”.
It is not known why the channel has pulled the last episode of “Comedy Nights With Kapil” in the last minute.
Navjot Singh Sidhu, who was also a part of Comedy Nights With Kapil, had tears rolling down his eyes. “Everybody is supporting Kapil”, TOI cited a source as saying.

The rising popularity of Comedy Nights Bachao has upset Kapil.
