At a rally in Portsmouth, N.H., he knocked Cruz for not reporting loans from Goldman Sachs and Citibank that he used to fund his 2012 Senate campaign.

Donald Trump on Sunday ramped up his attacks on fellow GOP presidential hopeful Ted Cruz on Sunday, calling the Texas senator “a nasty guy” and a “hypocrite”.
Cruz and Trump were set to cross paths later Saturday in Myrtle Beach, where they are both set to speak in the afternoon at a tea party convention.
“Anybody who was AWOL from the battle on the Gang of Eight has no standing as a candidate now to say they will enforce the border”, Cruz said of the comprehensive immigration bill pushed by Rubio in 2013.
While Cruz has been more reluctant to take on Trump, it is apparent the billionaire is on his mind.
“I think in terms of a commander in chief, we ought to have someone who isn’t springing out of bed to tweet in a frantic response to the latest polls”, he said.
Cruz added he was especially surprised that Trump would object to the idea of “New York values” because “he’s the one who laid out this analysis” in a 1999 TV interview.
According to the Washington Post, the Cruz campaign released the clip as an extension of the candidate’s theory that Trump is just an extension of liberal, big city, thinking.
Trump issued a series of tweets early Saturday criticizing the failure and questioning Cruz’s eligibility for the presidency since he was born in Canada.
We took a loan against our assets to invest it in that campaign to defend ourselves against those attacks. It also didn’t keep Cruz from ripping into Trump after his first event on Saturday.
‘In Hillary’s first 100 days she’s president, she’s going from the White House to the court house, ‘ he said, to which no one laughed. “He’s not making stuff up as he goes; it’s consistent with everything he’s always said”.
As recently as December, Cruz commended Trump’s proposal to ban all Muslims from entering the United States. Marco Rubio and others for the vote.
What Kasich likes to say to them may apply to his current quest. “People understand exactly what that is”.
Cruz is hoping to bring religious and social conservatives together with pro-gun libertarians for a stronger-than-expected finish in New Hampshire’s primary on February 9. Charlie Condon, the former attorney general of SC, outlined how they would focus on what opponents see as Mr Trump’s socially liberal streak.
On last night’s episode of SNL, Cruz, played by Taran Killam, mocked the candidate’s thinly-veiled dig at NY stereotypes, describing “New York values” as scenes from the 1990’s sitcom “Seinfeld”. Another is New York-based Goldman Sachs, which loaned a million bucks to his successful ’12 Senate bid (this is the money that Cruz failed to disclose because of a so-called paperwork error).

Ross later told The Star that more competition probably is the best long-term solution to outrageous drug prices, “but, unfortunately, I don’t know if it’s realistically going to happen”. “That was a very insulting statement that Ted made”.
