A Pasco County elementary school has resumed normal operations after the school was determined to be secure following a bomb threat.

Bomb threats have forced three MA schools to evacuate students.

Officials on Friday investigated at least five bomb threats called into MA schools, including Arlington Catholic High School, Chelsea High School, Boston College High School, Bourne High School and two middle schools in Weymouth. The building was cleared by 10 a.m., and students were allowed inside. We are very proud of the speed and effectiveness with which the school staff carried out the evacuation. Law enforcement is investigating the threats to determine a possible link.

There will be a police presence at the school throughout the day. When staff members heard the message about 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, they called the Sheriff’s Office.

The threat was investigated but the school was not evacuated. The call came in Monday night, she said, but school officials did not hear it until the morning.

The Taunton Police Department was contacted and officers were dispatched to the schools. They did not find the threat credible.

Redland High School is thought to be among those affected. Instead, it was someone who disguised their telephone number as they called in the threat.
