This doesn’t determine who will end up winning these primaries, but it does say who the people are more interested in and the polls indicate, especially among millennials, all this attention may not be a bad thing.
“Quite frankly, I haven’t seen quiet as much of his organization at a country level as the other candidates”, said Warren County GOP chair Rick Halvorsen, who couldn’t recall having seen Trump representatives at the party’s monthly meetings.
Among conservatives, Donald Trump can typically do no wrong – until he attacks Ted Cruz. It quoted a “surrogate” of the Cruz organisation, former SC attorney general Charlie Condon, as saying: “He’s pro-choice”.
Trump and Cruz clashed repeatedly in Thursday’s presidential debate over whether Cruz’s Canadian birthplace disqualified him from the presidency, and whether Trump embodied “New York values”, which Cruz said were not compatible with conservatism. “I recognize what Donald says on the campaign trail today is fairly conservative, but voters are discerning”. The only other time he has been critical of Trump was when Trump began to criticize Cruz publicly.
But at a campaign rally in Concord, the usually attack-happy Trump didn’t mention Cruz once, nor did he at an earlier rally Monday at Liberty University in Virginia. Cruz has pointed to a Wall Street Journal/NBC News poll that has been beating Trump in a hypothetical two-man race, although Trump leads Cruz substantially when pitted against the entire field.
I apologize to the millions of New Yorkers who have been let down by liberal politicians in that state.
Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump gives a thumbs-up during a campaign stop, Saturday, Jan. 16, 2016, in Portsmouth, N.H. They avoided taking pot shots at one another, even while they were competing for the same group of conservative and Evangelical Christian voters.
“I’m pretty sure that Ronald Reagan didn’t write a huge check to Rahm Emanuel in December 2010 – after, by the way, the big tea party wave”, Cruz said of the now-mayor of Chicago. Cruz also slipped in a jab at Marco Rubio, who was one of the Gang of 8, calling him one of the establishment Republicans “side by side proposing amnesty” with the Democrats.

Mr. Trump was at 32 percent in the Opinion Savvy/Augusta Chronicle poll, followed by Mr. Cruz, Texas Republican, at 18 percent and Mr. Bush at 13 percent. Ted Cruz. Trump used the last debate to go after Cruz and question whether he can legally serve as president because he was born in Canada. “It’s his way or the highway”, she said of the NY billionaire. Cruz said for all of Trump’s attention to immigration during the campaign, the real-estate mogul was “nowhere to be found” when Cruz and his congressional allies moved to squash an immigration overhaul in Washington.
