San Diego deserves better.

No NFL franchise has moved since the Houston Oilers went to Tennessee in 1997.

So what happened, and now what? “While we are excited about the prospect of building a new stadium in Inglewood, California, this is bitter sweet”.

Joining the Rams in Inglewood has its drawbacks. “Dean will take some time to evaluate the new options that have been created for the Chargers by the owners’ vote. In particular, we are interested in their justification for departing so significantly from the NFL’s guidelines after St. Louis had, in record time, presented a proposal for a first-class stadium”.

What will the Chargers decide? The person requested anonymity because they had not been authorized to speak publicly.

The Rams are expected to play at the Los Angeles Coliseum for the next three years, the place Carroll called home when he coached the USC Trojans. The Raiders and Rams both left Los Angeles after the 1994 season.

Spanos was pointedly non-committal Tuesday night about his plans.

The league’s final resolution on relocation Tuesday also has stipulations about this. However, he does have four options when it comes to the team’s future. Even though the team hadn’t had a winning season since 2003, Lindsey gained an affinity for a squad once labeled The Greatest Show on Turf.

What will the Raiders do?

Schaaf, along with Representatives Rob Vescovo, Jay Barnes, Mark Parkinson, Eric Burlison and Tracy McCreery filed a lawsuit previous year against Nixon and the public board that owns and operates the Edward Jones Dome. “We’re ready to go as soon as we can get a ballot measure in the works”, Goldsmith said.

The Rams belong to Los Angeles once again.

This first vote during the meetings tallied a total of 20 “yes” and 12 no’s.

Sherman grew up in Compton, just outside Inglewood where the new stadium will be located.

The Rams announced they were moving to Los Angeles from St. Louis on Tuesday, and the Chargers were given a one-year option to join them. “They want a new stadium, they want to make lots of money with the new stadium and in the LA market they will be able to get everything that the owners want in that department”. “Because these teams need to figure out where they’re playing next season”.

We don’t doubt that the prospect of a new stadium in L.A. was more enticing than a new stadium in a city where only 50,000 fans per weekend bought tickets, but many feel Kroenke lied from the day he purchased the Rams in 2010.
