Google+ Photos, the photo sharing solution built into Google’s social network Google+, is shutting down. Google+ Photos may stop working, but any images that have been uploaded will simply be accessible from http://photos.google.com instead. In a post to Google+, ironically enough, Google has (unsurprisingly) announced that starting on August 1st, it will be sunsetting its Google+ Photos app in favor of the recently launched Google Photos. You don’t really have to move any of your photos over, because all your photos and videos are already available on the rebranded Google Photos. This has caused Google to announce the shutdown of the old service.
What about the photos you shared through Hangouts or Blogger?
According to Google, with the new Photos application users will still be able to backup, edit, and share their photos and videos, with unlimited storage, automatic organization, and more.
With the release of the standalone Google Photos app, Google+ Photos no longer has much of a use.

David Arnott, a Business Journalist and Editor from Nashville spotted the situation having had established the app a few months ago and figured later to rate it a like new filmed. The application should be fully compatible with all devices powered by Android 4.0 and up.
