Cops to don proper pants at Angelil funeral

According to the latest reports, Rene made a valiant effort to make his passing easier in any way he possibly could for his wife of 21 years, Celine Dion.

Dion’s brother, Daniel, then passed away just a few days later, also from cancer.

As a result, Dion is “going through (this mourning process) peacefully and with control”, the stylist adds.

In place of a live rendition, Dion’s representative, Kim Jakwerth, stated that they may just play one or two of Celine’s songs in the background.

One of Rene Angelil’s final acts of love for his wife, Celine Dion, was to take away the burden and pain of organizing his funeral.

On Friday the star announced she will host a celebration of his life at the Las Vegas Colosseum in Caesars Palace on February 3.

Celine’s brother Daniel died two days later after a battle with cancer.

The announcement follows the death on Thursday of the 73-year-old Angelil in suburban Las Vegas after a long ballet with throat cancer.

The religious funeral service has been set for Friday, Jan. 22 and it will be broadcasted live on three major TV networks.

LeAnn Rimes, another southern belle, wrote, “My heart and so many prayers go out to the sweet @celinedion She has the biggest heart that I’m sure is broken”.

Fans have been invited to pay their respects to Angelil, who would have turned 74 on Saturday, during A Chapel of Rest event at the Basilica on the eve of the funeral.
