Sarah Palin joins Donald Trump presidential campaign
Sarah Palin is endorsing Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump in Iowa on Tuesday night, but back in September, she told CNN’s Jake Tapper on “State of the Union” she had one post in mind when it came to a Trump administration. This is yet another example of Palin “going rogue” in the eyes of the establishment and mainstream media. Her endorsement “will have the effect of having conservatives say to themselves, ‘Sarah Palin, who is basically the queen of conservatism, if she says Donald Trump is the guy … then isn’t that a lot of credential?”

That’s surprising because she campaigned for Ted Cruz during his Senate race in Texas, and both are considered conservatives, Trump has been battling questions about whether he’s really a conservative or even a true Republican. “She can pick winners”.
Now with Iowa less than two weeks away and polls showing Trump neck and neck with Cruz, Palin’s official endorsement could be crucial.
On the political front the coveted endorsement of Trump comes just 13 days before votes are cast in Iowa, the debut contest in the presidential primary race, and it could give a welcome boost to Trump, the current Republican frontrunner. “I am proud to have her support”, he added. “I just want to win”.
“Are you ready for a commander-in-chief, you ready for a commander-in-chief who will let our warriors do their job and go kick ISIS ass?” .
Her backing could help insulate Mr Trump against charges that he’s not a true believer in the cause due to his support for liberal political issues and candidates in the past.
Sarah Palin’s endorsement has provided concrete proof of how Donald Trump could only inspire people who are either clueless or bigots – or both, like herself.
She said there was nothing wrong with Trump being a multi-billionaire and that it did not make him an elitist, citing all the time he had spent with construction workers as a real-estate developer.
Trump said he was honoured to receive Palin’s endorsement.
Since resigning her governorship in 2009, Palin has worked as a conservative political commentator and as the producer and star of lightly staged television shows about her large family enjoying Alaska’s rugged landscapes. Cruz called the move a “blow to Sarah Palin”.
She explained that Trump “is the candidate giving voice to untold millions of fed-up Americans witnessing a purposeful destruction of our economy and the equal opportunity for success that made America exceptional”.
Track Palin (L), oldest son of Sarah Palin, a Republican vice presidential nominee, former Alaska governor and conservative megastar, during the Republican National Convention 2008 at the Xcel Energy Center in St Paul, Minnesota.
Palin will also be joining Trump at two events Wednesday, including a rally in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Track Palin was arrested for interfering with the report of a domestic violence, possession of a firearm while intoxicated and assault on his girlfriend, which are all misdemeanors.

“I think it helps Trump overwhelm the news cycle with Trump coverage at a critical time”, he said.
