“She would only say that on the radio”, Handler, 40, explained on Jenny McCarthy’s Sirius XM radio show Tuesday.

TMZ initially reported that McDonald appeared on a radio show this week, where she claimed she lived in constant fear while working with Chelsea Handler.
Handler, whose A-list circle of friends includes Jennifer Aniston, Cameron Diaz and Gwyneth Paltrow, ultimately slammed McDonald’s allegations. Because she’s f-king scared, and she should be.
“She would never say anything to my face”, Handler said.
The comedian fired back at former “Chelsea Lately” co-star Heather McDonald, following claims that Handler had been a terrible boss.
“I lived in fear, 100 percent fear”. Handler said they were never friends again, but pointed out that she chose to continue employing McDonald for an additional four years because she was amusing and good for the show.
“I enjoyed my time there, I was happy, but something could happen and my heart would be beating and I’d be like ‘is this it?,'” McDonald said at the time. Yowser! Chelsea is NOT somebody you would ever need to have on your very bad side! “That part bugged me”, she said. “That is the reason I quit conversing with her. I could have terminated her, yet rather I simply quit investing any individual energy with her”. “If you’re living in that much fear, then get [another] job”, Handler said. “She makes you feel so special until you’re not”.
In July, Handler ended her contract with E! to work on a docuseries for Netflix. “She laughs at you, and that’s what’s sad”, McDonald said.

But Handler dropped a bombshell when she revealed McDonald had traded details about Handler’s personal life to Us Weekly in exchange for the magazine running her photo.
