Ford India launches all-new Endeavour at Rs 24.75 lakh onwards

Ford India has introduced the latest model of its premium Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) brand, the Ford Endeavour, in India to take on Toyota Fortuner, the market leader in the segment. “Today’s launch is another stellar example of our Product Excellence Promise with all new Ford Endeavour”.

The Ford Endeavour has been launched with two oil-burning engine options – a 2.2-litre 4-cylinder and a 3.2-litre 5-pot unit. The Endeavour is the third product to be launched in the 2015-16 fiscal after the Figo Aspire and the Figo hatchback. This Terrain Management System is a badass. The 2.2-litre manual gearbox variant returns a mileage of 14.12km/l, the automatic returns 12.62km/l, and the 3.2-litre engine returns 10.91km/l. Moreover, the 2.2-litre diesel engine will be offered with a choice of 2WD and 4WD, while the 3.2-litre diesel engine will be offered with only 4WD and will come in Trend and Titanium variants.

The new SUV model features eight-way power adjustable front seats, dual airbags, ABS, traction control, hill-start assist, Ford MyKey along with touchscreen infotainment system and voice control. It also gets Integrated Active Noise Cancellation. Ford claims that the Endeavour has a water wading capacity of 800 mm and a fuel tank capacity of 80 liters. It has a wheelbase of 2,850 mm and ground clearance of 225 mm.

There are 6 colours to choose from – Sunset Red, Golden Bronze, Moondust Silver, Panther Black, Diamond White and Smoke Grey.
