Facebook wants everyone to “like” Isis posts in a bid to destroy them in the digital war.
The U.S.-based group established its “Initiative for Civil Courage Online” in Berlin, vowing over 1 million euros (1 million pounds) to support non-governmental organisations in their attempts to counter racist and xenophobic posts.
The OCCI pulls together the International Centre for the Study of Radicalisation and Political Violence (ICSR), the Institute for Strategic Dialogue (ISD) and the Amadeu Antonio Foundation, working in partnership with Facebook.
