Xiaomi Mi 5 specifications and features: From everything we know so far, the Mi 5 is set to sport a 5.2-inch QHD (2560×1440 pixels) display with pixel density of 565ppi. As some of you might recall since the first time we came across the Mi5 in Geekbench, the smartphone was equipped with a Snapdragon 820 “revision 1” SoC and was capable of yielding 2,140 and 4,752 points in single and multi-core tests respectively. 4GB RAM is expected in the flagship device with 16-64GB of internal memory to be included, no word on expandable memory yet. The higher variant of the device will get 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of onboard storage.
Powered with a 3,600mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 technology, Xiaomi Mi 5 is expected to run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow interfaced with MIUI 7.
According to an International Data Corporation (IDC) report, Xiaomi was the fifth largest smartphone vendor in Q3 2015 and shipped 18.3 million units, including the Redmi Note 2, Redmi 2A Prime and Mi 4c.
