Benjamin Armstrong’s groomsmen surprised him on his special day in Auckland, New Zealand, with the bride Aaliyah Armstrong admitting it was an emotional moment.
Ms Armstrong begins to cry during the performance and both she and her husband later join in.
‘I was really blown away’.
“I wasn’t planning on jumping in until one bridesmaid did”, Aaliyah said.
The video shows the newly wedded couple standing side by side as their loved ones perform a ceremonial Maori war dance.
The almost three minute video ends with the couple emotionally embracing the performers.
The video was beautifully captured by the bride’s cousin’s production company. You’ve moved me to tears.
The newlyweds were taken by surprise again when a film of the dance posted on Facebook was watched millions of time.

The dance is also performed for welcoming important guests, to acknowledge great achievements, occasions – like a wedding – or even funerals.
