LeBron James named 2016 NBA All-Star starter
James was the leading vote-getter in the Eastern Conference with a grand total of 1,089,206 votes.

With the announcement of the 2016 NBA All-Star Game starters coming at 7 p.m. EST tonight on TNT, Footwear News went back into the game’s archives to see what its MVPs wore when they won the award. The All-Star start will be his fifth.
Thunder forward Kevin Durant and guard Russell Westbrook were both named starters for the Western Conference in February’s NBA All-Star Game. Bryant will be playing in his final NBA All-Star Game next month, as he announced his impending retirement from the NBA after he completes his 20th professional season.
In addition to his scoring prowess, James has averaged 6.18 assists, 6.45 rebounds and 1.54 steals in the NBA All-Star Game. 502 shooting from the field, 7.2 rebounds, 6.0 assists and 1.4 steals in 35.7 minutes per game.
In 2015-16, the 6-foot-8 forward has appeared in 39 games (all starts) with averages of 25.1 points (fifth in NBA) on. James and the Cavaliers sit atop the Eastern Conference with a 29-11 record.
The rest of the Eastern conference team will be made up of Kyle Lowry, Dwyane Wade, Paul George and Carmelo Anthony.

The NBA All-Star Game will be Sunday, Feb. 14 at Air Canada Centre in Toronto. The reserves, selected by the coaches, will be announced January 28th.
