The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium will be coming in with a 5.5 inch IPS LCD display screen with a resolution of 2160 x 3840 and 806ppi. For instance, the Xperia Z5 came out only 3 months after the Xperia Z4, and the Xperia Z3 was released less than a year before that.

Few details about an unannounced Xperia smartphones emerged and we don’t know anything about the Xperia Z6, which should be Sony’s next flagship. Could we see a new flagship Xperia phone? It may have a 1080p or QHD screen, which may offer a 3D Touch-like technology. After all, if you look at the design of the Z1 compared to the Z5, one wouldn’t blame you if you couldn’t tell them apart.

The iPhone 6s may strut its 3D Touch technology as a standout feature possessed by no other, but there aren’t many apps that utilize it; the waterproof build of the Xperia Z5 however has much more everyday practicality.

It is also said that the flagship models will support the Snapdragon 820 SoC. The Z5 series has a fingerprint scanner on its home button, and there isn’t really any reason for that feature to change, according to PC Advisor. Some of you might be happy with this release while others might still sigh over the Android M. However, if you come to think about it, now that this update has rolled out to these two Xperia devices, the next big update will surely be your yours truly, Android 6.0 Marshmallow. As far as the price is concerned, it is not expected to be low, as Sony doesn’t often go cheap.
