Amidst the rumours of their firmly-kept-under-wraps affair, television’s reigning queen Divyanka Tripathi exchanged rings with Ye Hai Mohabbatein co-star Vivek Dahiya on January 15 in a quiet ceremony in Chandigarh.

While, many celeb well-wishers too to the social network to wish the just-engaged couple, Ekta Kapoor stood out by sharing an unseen picture of Divyanka and Vivek’s engagement. “Once we were sure, we wanted to take the relationship to the next level”.
Be it her breakup with long-time boyfriend Ssharad Malhotra or winning accolades for her role in Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, Divyanka has had quite an eventful 2015.
The couple are seen together in the popular serial on Star Plus “Yeh Hai Mohabbatein”, where Divyanka plays the female lead Ishita Bhalla, whereas Vivek is seen in a supporting role of ACP Abhishek Singh. After this, it was awkward for us to shoot together. “We thought when everybody likes everyone, then why not turn this into an engagement”, says Divyanka. But I don’t think our co-actors ever got a hint. We were two people exploring the fact whether we were compatible enough to settle into the institution of marriage. The marriage will take place this year itself with the parents finalizing the date and logistics. We started meeting regularly only after we got our parents’ approval. Both our families have met. They are extremely fond of each other.
