New Poll Shows Sanders, Trump Leading In Iowa
It’s an issue Clinton has recently used in attacks against her opponent, painting Sanders with an irresponsible record on firearm legislation while in Congress.

Clinton led in Iowa throughout the fall and into December but polls released this month have depicted a much tighter race against Sanders.
I really don’t understand what he means by that. “I care about making a real difference in your life and that gets to the choice you have to make in this caucus”.
But the former secretary of state says her campaign is stronger this time around. Sanders was also the most trusted candidate on the economy, a topic on which Clinton had led in CNN polling since August. “I just want to talk about the practical reality here”. His campaign released a feel-good television ad portraying his bid as an optimistic populist movement that is generating far more enthusiasm than Clinton is.
CNN/ORC surveyed 2,002 Iowa adults by telephone January 15 to January 20, including 266 likely Republican presidential caucus-goers and 280 likely Democratic presidential caucus-goers.
National polls show a commanding lead for Hillary Clinton, but Bernie Sanders’s hold on New Hampshire polls is increasing, and he’s taken the lead in one new poll in Iowa. Clinton has recently launched an effort to associate herself with President Barack Obama’s legacy.
Hillary Rodham Clinton’s campaign took aim at her rival Bernie Sanders’ Middle East policies, saying they would leave Israel vulnerable.
Sullivan’s comments echoed a common theme of recent days: casting Sanders as a foreign-policy lightweight.
“He has suggested that we invite Iranian troops into Syria”, Clinton said. They help to lead the battle for marriage equality.
The former first lady also blasted Sanders plan for single-payer healthcare, casting it as something that would only give Republicans “an opening to come in and tear down everything we have achieved” with the Affordable Care Act. The Times reported that during a $275,000 speech before GoldenTree Asset Management in 2013, Clinton defended the 2010 Dodd-Frank financial reform law but added that Wall Street should be seen as “a partner in securing the country’s economic future, not an enemy”. “That’s how I will win”, Sanders said in an interview with the Burlington Free Press in November.
Jennifer Aldrich, a 44-year-old fitness instructor in Iowa City, brought her 16-year-old daughter and her daughter’s friend to see Clinton. And she says Sanders is weak on gun control. “I Googled it for them”. Possibly. But a lot will depend upon who the GOP nominee is, and – as we’ve been reminded again this week – many Republicans are just as anxious about the impact Trump – or Cruz! – could have on down ballot races.

Nationally, Clinton still has a considerable lead over Sanders, 74.
