Pebble Time smartwatch just hit Best Buy, landing at Target August 17

With Pebble Time’s boasted longevity of 7 days on a single charge, it’ll certainly last longer than any other smartwatch on the market, including those which run Android Wear that users would typically have to charge every night.

It’s the first time that the new smartwatch has been offered to the general public following yet another Kickstarter success story for the Pebble start-up.

If you head into a Best Buy today or Target from August 17, you should be able to buy one in black, white or red on the spot. Target’s availability will begin the week of August 17th.

It works with both Android and iOS and features four buttons to scroll and select things.

Pebble’s older smartwatches have been available from Amazon for some time, but it’s not clear when Time will join them. For the time being, Best Buy is shipping only to USA buyers. As of this moment, at least a few Manhattan locations show it being ready for in-store pickup.

The company has confirmed that as of today, the watch will be available in Best Buy retail stores (as well as for order on the website, where it’s also been available for pre-order for the past month). This article has been updated with the correct information.
