Hillary Clinton leads Bernie Sanders in Iowa by 9 points
Though the tightening nature of the race, particularly in Iowa, hasn’t sparked widespread panic among her supporters quite yet, it’s worrying some donors, as well as Bill Clinton and their daughter, Chelsea, who shared her concerns at a meeting with supporters in NY this week, according to people close to the campaign, who spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss private conversations.

During the recent Democratic debate in Charleston, hosted by the Congressional Black Caucus Institute, Clinton accused Sanders of attacking President Obama.
Of course, Clinton’s formidable campaign team includes most of the mainstream media, and the Democratic National Committee.
Clinton began her remarks here by stressing that, compared to the candidates on the Republican side, she and Sanders disagree on relatively little. But that’s not what you’ll get.
Anyway, as a personal matter, I got my fill of Marxist faculty lounge lizards back in the tie-dyed, VW bus era.
“It has not all been a bed of roses”.
BILL CLINTON repeatedly needled his wife’s rival, referring to him only as “Hillary’s opponent”, telegraphing a sense of urgency for the one-time front-runner. “The politics in our country can be pretty harsh”. “Here’s an area where I think Secretary Clinton and I have a strong difference of opinion”. I understand that. It is a competitive process. “That doesn’t sit well with me, because we’re all in this together, and that’s what Bernie epitomizes to me”. “I think it’s a very huge question mark as to what happens when they come at him full-bore”. “There are probably some people that are saying, ‘Jesus Christ, not again'”.
Jae C. Hong/AP In New Hampshire, Sanders is handily beating Hillary Clinton, who had for months been seen as the party’s undisputed front-runner for the nomination.
Support for Bernie Sanders’ Democratic presidential bid has continued to rise in New Hampshire, with six in 10 likely voters saying they would back the Vermont senator with the first-in-the-nation primary just weeks away, a new poll has found. “But he’s not far behind”, says Tom Miller, the state’s attorney general and a Clinton supporter.
Although Clinton avoided directly hitting Sanders earlier in the day, she did comment on the fact that Sanders said earlier this week that groups like NARAL, Planned Parenthood and the Human Rights Campaign – all organizations that endorsed Clinton – were part of the “establishment” that he was running against. “He’s been in Congress, he’s been elected to office a lot longer than I have”. “I’m listening to you”. Who’s prepared to do the job?
Clinton spent barely any time on the rope line of the organizing event in Burlington, shaking a few hands when she closed the speech and then quickly exiting. “He later was forced to apologize for his lies about her”, said Sanders spokesman Michael Briggs. “It is not all fun and games”. Like with her donors in Wall Street, there is a conflict of interest in what she says and what she has and will do.

At Sunday’s debate, Sanders said it was time for the United States to “move as aggressively as we can to normalize relations with Iran, understanding that Iran’s behavior in so many ways in something that we disagree with”.
