4-inches iPhone (2016) Leaked in a Video

No rumors have surfaced regarding what the new casing will look like, but with the increased smartwatch competition in the market, it’s likely that Apple Watch 2.0 will present a significant alternative design now that Apple has had more time to assess the market reaction to the first Apple Watch. The 4-inch screen (and presumably its 1136×640 resolution) will be retained, but the edges of the phone and the front glass will be curved instead of squared off as they are in the iPhone 5 and 5S.

It would appear that Apple will have something new for the budget-conscious, with the device once unofficially known as the iPhone 7c reportedly arriving in March.

What will come straight from the iPhone 6 is the A8 chipset, but it is said to be complemented by some iPhone 6s hardware, namely the Bluetooth 4.2, VoLTE and Wi-Fi 802.11ac chips. The ‘se’ suffix has been defined in two ways by Apple employees; “special edition” variation of the vintage 4-inch iPhone screen size and as an “enhanced” version of the iPhone 5s. According to a new 40-second leaked video clip, it reveals a phone that is similar to the iPhone 6s. Why can’t it use something similar with the iPhone?

From the looks of it, the new budget iPhone will have a lot to share with the current iPhone 6s except for the smaller dimensions.

Same Silver, Space Gray, Gold, & Rose Gold color options as the 6S line. It will also come with support for NFC, Live Photos and WiFi AC. The Apple Watch 2 will sport major design and hardware changes such as the inclusion of a FaceTime camera and improved processor and battery.

The latest reports reiterate the rumors that have been circulating the web about a smaller and far cheaper iPhone that will likely thrive in developing economies. It won’t have a 3D Touch Display. and could be launched in March or April of 2016.

The report says that Apple is also going to “release the WatchOS 2.2 update” in March.
