Ronald Koeman eyes Chelsea job but Jorge Sampaoli remains the bookmakers’ favourite
Southampton boss Ronald Koeman has thrown his hat in to become the next permanent manager of Chelsea FC.

“It’s a bit of a shame that we conceded a draw at the end of the Liverpool game, but it was a fantastic game for the spectators and it was one of the best games I’ve played in for Arsenal”. “I haven’t seen the images”.
They have not lost to Arsenal in the league since 2011 and remain unbeaten since Hiddink took over in December.
“He [Hazard] was in the team, well prepared until two days ago by the physios and then he started participating in the team”, Hiddink said.
Arsenal have been strengthened by the arrival last summer, from Chelsea, of Petr Cech. “At that moment the good goalkeepers save points for the team and he’s doing that”.
“Petr was and still is so determined, ambitious and detailed in his work”, said Hiddink. Nearly everyone was gone, it was late (on Wednesday) afternoon.
But Koeman’s made little impact on the betting market, it seems.
Hiddink maintains Cech is one of the best goalkeepers in the world.
Meanwhile, Chelsea have endured a woeful defence of their title and sit 19 points behind their London rivals heading into their weekend clash at the Emirates Stadium and Wenger feels his defence has benefited from having such an experienced campaigner shoring them up.
Owner Roman Abramovich felt Cech’s distinguished service meant he should choose where to go and Mourinho accepted the decision, while not agreeing with it. “It’s all bulls***. You can’t win when you talk to them”, he told members of the media at a press conference, via Goal.
