‘Natural Born’ Issue for Ted Cruz Is Not Going Away
That didn’t stop host Trevor Noah from sounding off on Ted Cruz’s epic slam on “New York values”.

It’s important to understand that it is not because Ted Cruz criticized Donald Trump for being tainted by “New York Values” last week.
The video, from the YouTube channel “Real Americans 4 Real Presidents”, which is not affiliated with the Trump campaign, highlights an apparent contrast between Cruz’s support for the policy in 2011 – when he said it was a “mistake” to try to fight birthright citizenship – and comments he made in 2015, insisting he has opposed it “for many years”.
Meanwhile, Trump went on the offensive Friday, calling Cruz “strident” and labeling his remarks about “New York values” in the GOP debate “disgraceful”.
Check out the cover below. “Just in the last couple of days you’ve seen him knocking the shine off of Trump”, Reagan said.
“Quite frankly, I haven’t seen quiet as much of his organization at a country level as the other candidates”, said Warren County GOP chair Rick Halvorsen, who couldn’t recall having seen Trump representatives at the party’s monthly meetings.
“I disagree with Donald”.
“Ronald Reagan was a voice of consistency”, the Texas senator said.
Since Trump began his attacks, Cruz’s citizenship has been incredibly popular on Google. “I’m going to keep the focus of this campaign on substance of issues”.
Aboard his campaign bus Monday evening, Cruz told NPR that voters want “someone they can trust – not someone who, on any given day, they don’t know what he’s likely to do”.
Cruz is also looking ahead to Super Tuesday on March 1, also nicknamed the “SEC Primary” after the college-football conference, when voters in several southern states, including Cruz’s home state of Texas, go to the polls.
But they’re not eager to show off. Trump’s campaign repeatedly turned down requests from AP to tag along with volunteers or speak with Iowa staffers.
If elected president, he vowed on his first day in office he’d rescind Obama’s controversial executive orders, “rip to shreds this catastrophic Iranian nuclear deal” and end the persecution of religious liberties.
However, it wasn’t the first time Trump compared himself to the Republican icon.
I apologize to the millions of New Yorkers who have been let down by the liberal politicians in that state….I apologize to all of the pro-life, pro-marriage, and pro-2nd Amendment New Yorkers who are told by Gov. Cuomo that they have no place in New York because that’s not who New Yorkers are.
